Horn & Hardart

When I first came to New York, there was a Horn & Hardart on the corner of 42nd & 3rd.

I know I'm dating myself (but I think that's legal in New York now).

It was more than a nickel but you get the idea. They closed in 1991. It's a Gap now.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Now this city is going to be home to a 24-Hour Cupcake ATM.

According to Adweek:
New York's first Cupcake ATM, which can hold 760 cupcakes at a time in 20 different varieties, is located next to the Sprinkles Cupcakes bakery on the Upper East Side. The cupcakes cost $4.25 each in flavors like red velvet, Cuban coffee, banana dark chocolate and cinnamon sugar.
